Asian K-pop Stars is a global talent competition and TV show designed to discover and nurture the next generation of K-pop stars from Asia. The program offers participants a chance to showcase their talents, undergo world-class training, and debut as professional artists in South Korea, supported by World K-pop Centre (WKC).

The program is owned and organized by Pertubuhan Generasi Digital Malaysia (PGDM), under an exclusive licensing agreement with World K-pop Centre (WKC). PGDM is the sole owner of the program, responsible for its operations and coordination in collaboration with WKC to ensure the highest industry standards.

To participate, applicants must meet the following criteria:

• Age: Between 18 and 30 years old at the time of application.

• Gender: Open to female participants only.

• Monthly Announcements: 100 participants will be announced at the end of each month, starting from February until July. This will total 600 participants.
• Offline Auditions: These participants will compete in offline auditions held in Malaysia, Thailand, and Indonesia, where 30 candidates will be shortlisted. Note that PGDM does not cover expenses for offline auditions.
• Locations:
• Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
• Bangkok, Thailand
• Jakarta, Indonesia
• Additional locations will be announced on the official website and social media platforms.
• Bootcamp: A 5-week program will take place in Malaysia.
• Final Training: The top 20 participants will travel to South Korea for a 6 to 14-month training program under WKC and debut as K-pop artists.

Yes, participants who are not selected as part of the top 100 for a specific month can submit another video and try again in subsequent months. For example, if you participate in February but are not selected, you can reapply in March by submitting a new application.

To register:

• Logo Requirement: Participants must include the Asian K-pop Stars logo in their video. This can be:

• Submission: Upload your video to TikTok or YouTube, and provide the video link in the registration form.

Participants will receive:

Participants must adhere to professional attire that respects Malaysia’s cultural norms. Guidelines include:

• Wearing modest clothing that covers shoulders and knees, in line with local religious and cultural sensitivities.
• Avoiding revealing, tight, or inappropriate outfits.
• Professional attire will be required for performances and media appearances.
• Detailed guidelines will be shared as needed.

Failure to follow the program’s rules and conditions may result in:

• Warnings for minor infractions.
• Immediate disqualification for serious violations, such as:
• Disruptive or unprofessional behavior.
• Non-compliance with dress code or ethical standards.
• Disqualification decisions are final, and registration fees are non-refundable.

WKC provides essential support in licensing, training, and mentoring participants. They also facilitate the 6 to 14-month debut program in South Korea, offering finalists direct access to top industry professionals and global exposure.

Participants selected for the 20-finalist phase will have their travel and accommodation expenses covered for their stay in South Korea. Other expenses, unless otherwise stated, will be the responsibility of the participants.

Participants may withdraw by submitting a formal written notice. Please note that registration fees are non-refundable, and prior contributions are not reimbursed.

A panel of industry experts and judges will make the final selection.
