What are the eligibility requirements?
To participate, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Age: Between 18 and 30 years old at the time of application.
(for age below 18 need to fill parental/guardian Consent Agreement) - Nationality: Must be of Asian descent.
- Gender: Open to female participants only.
What is the updated competition format?
- Monthly Announcements: 100 participants will be announced at the end of each month, starting from February until July. This will total 600 participants.
- Offline Auditions: These participants will compete in offline auditions held in Malaysia, Thailand, and Indonesia, where 30 candidates will be shortlisted. Note that PGDM does not cover expenses for offline auditions.
- Locations:
- Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
- Bangkok, Thailand
- Jakarta, Indonesia
- Additional locations will be announced on the official website and social media platforms.
- Bootcamp: A 5-week program will take place in Malaysia.
- Final Training: The top 20 participants will travel to South Korea for a 6 to 14-month training program under WKC and debut as K-pop artists.
Can I try again if not selected?
Yes, participants who are not selected as part of the top 100 for a specific month can submit another video and try again in subsequent months. For example, if you participate in February but are not selected, you can reapply in March by submitting a new application.
How can I register?
To register:

- Logo Requirement: Participants must include the Asian K-pop Stars logo in their video. This can be:
- Displayed digitally as an overlay.
- Printed and clearly visible in the background during the performance.
- Instructions on how to download the official logo will be provided during registration.
- Submission: Upload your video to TikTok or YouTube, and provide the video link in the registration form.
Is there a registration fee, and how can I pay?
Yes, there is an administration fee. Payment can be made via:

- Normal Price: $18 USD

What happens if I don’t follow the terms and conditions?
Failure to follow the program’s rules and conditions may result in:
- Warnings for minor infractions.
- Immediate disqualification for serious violations, such as:
- Disruptive or unprofessional behavior.
- Non-compliance with dress code or ethical standards.
- Disqualification decisions are final, and registration fees are non-refundable.
What role does the World K-pop Centre (WKC) play in the program?
WKC provides essential support in licensing, training, and mentoring participants. They also facilitate the 6 to 14-month debut program in South Korea, offering finalists direct access to top industry professionals and global exposure.
Will participants receive financial compensation?
Participants selected for the 20-finalist phase will have their travel and accommodation expenses covered for their stay in South Korea. Other expenses, unless otherwise stated, will be the responsibility of the participants.
Can I withdraw from the program?
Participants may withdraw by submitting a formal written notice. Please note that registration fees are non-refundable, and prior contributions are not reimbursed.
